"Hi, I'm Maia . I'm french but I spent six month in Devon, with my family, to learn english (2002).
During this period, my brother and I went to Park School (that's were the camp takes place every summer).
Two years later we came back to England in summer, my brother , a german friend and I went camping for two weeks at Young Dartington. We all made friends quickly and had great fun!
We joined in doing nice and exiting activities like watersports, tie-dye, pottery or quest games (I could actually wright every activities down).
But the best was still camping! Every evening we help cooking dinner, we play games or play music in the piano room.
After we have eaten all together, who likes can go swimming in Dartington's open air swimming-pool, which is great after a nice and hot summer day!
Games are oganized at the football pitch and guitar is played by the campfire. Marshmallows are toasted and everyone gets some hot chocolate.
Sometimes little night-walks near the river are organized... and this is very exiting!
I came back two years ago, and this summerr is going to be a Young Dartington summer as well.
It permitted me to improove my english and it was very funny to teatch a bit of french to peaple from the camp!
I'm looking forward to seeing you all,
love from Maia" -Maia Geist
